While there have not yet been any confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Cheshire East, we know that the number of cases in the UK is rising and it is important that everybody plays their part in delaying the spread of infection. We have, therefore, initiated a public health poster campaign throughout the Academy and backed this up in form time sessions. These activities are intended to promote the simple message: Catch It; Bin It; Kill It.

Welcome to The Oaks website. I hope as you navigate your way through the site that you are able to clearly see all aspects of our vision at work. Our vision statement is ‘Inspire, Believe and Achieve’ and this relates to all aspects of our work with staff, students and parents, our aim is:
- To INSPIRE all students to be valued members of the school and wider community
- To make students BELIEVE in their ability to ACHIEVE the best outcomes
- To build resilience in all of our students, so they ACHIEVE through an ‘I Can’ attitude
On the 5th September we welcomed our biggest cohort of Year 7 for the last three years. This is always an exciting time for both students, staff and parents alike, giving us the opportunity to work together to ensure a smooth transition to Secondary School life. I am excited to see all of these students settle into Academy life and begin their journey to achieving their true potential. Whether this be through enjoying academic success or through the plethora of extra-curricular opportunities we have on offer for all of our students. Last week, parents of our Year 7 met with staff to discuss how their child had settled in. The feedback from this evening was fantastic, with one parent saying “Loves school, we know we made the right choice sending our child here. We think it is brilliant.”
After nearly three years of the school being open for ‘business’, I now feel it is time to ‘shout’ about our achievements and would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to come and have a tour during the school day, at a time of your convenience. Every Day is an Open Day and I look forward to welcoming you all through our doors soon! In the meantime click here to find out, from our students, how they have been settling in.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
